EEnE and The PPG's 05

The next morning, Double D thought it would be a great idea to walk to school. Its a bright sun shiny day and he's enjoying the warm weather. He walks through a park, listening to his favorite song on his ipod "she blinded me with science" by thomas Dolby. "Ah, it sure is great this fine weather. A walk in the park before classes, so relaxing." He said with his hands in his pocket. Then a shadow came running from behind, coming faster and faster. He didn't notice then a huge scream came "DOUBLE D!!!!!" causing him to jump and smash his head through a branch of a tree. It is Ed all sweaty and worried, he grabbed Double D by the foot and pulled him from the branch comically. "Oooh....Mom you ran over grandpa again..." Double D said dazed. Ed shook him "Double D!! stop being uncouncious now!!" Then proceeded to slap him 3 times till Double D shouted "ED!! ED!! I'M AWAKE!!" "OH ITS HORRIBLE DOUBLE D!! I COULDN'T SLEEP, EAT OR WATCH TV LIKE I USED TO AFTER BEING WITH BUTTERCUP!!!" Ed yelled then dropped Double D and turned around. "My stomachs been feeling all iggly and wiggly inside, I can't stop thinking about her!!" He shouted. "Aww, you just have a little crush Ed. Nothing to worry about, not like its gonna kill ya." Double D explained. Not too far behind Eddy came and yelled "Hey!! Ed!!" He tripped and fell on Double D. "Watch where your going sock head!!" Yelled Eddy. "Well..there goes my morning.." Double D said annoyingly on the ground with some scratches and dirt. He got up and dusted himself then said "What are you 2 doing here? I thought you'd be taking the bus!" "We didn't see ya around, thought you might be in trouble." Said Eddy with his hands in his pocket as Ed is in the background trying to calm down. "Aww thats so thoughtful of you Edd-" Double D was about to finish his sentence then Eddy jamed a jaw breaker into his mouth. Double D was shocked for a moment but then over taken by the sweetness of the candy. "Ooh, how could i forget you sweet sweet breaker." Double D whispered. Eddy tossed one to Ed and both put the jaw breakers in their mouth.  "Dude even though we changed and got older, jaw breakers will always be there." Eddy said sucking on one. "Oooooo...you got that right." Said Double D. Ed, Eddy and Double D then started to walk to go school all taken in by sweetness of their favorite candy forgetting their worries for a minute.

At school, The Powerpuff girls are sitting by the statue out in front, each pondering what happened at the lake last night. there is a bit of silence Between each other till Blossom spoke "Soo..anything interesting happen girls?" "Nope" Said Bubbles and Buttercup looking at the ground. "You 2 sure are acting weird..your never this silent!" Said Blossom. "I might...I might have a crush on Double D..." Whispered Bubbles. "Aha! I knew it. what about you Buttercup?" Said Blossom. "None of your business.." She said turning around hiding her face. "I'm your sister so it is my business!" Blossom stated. "Blossom just but out..." Buttercup said. "Blossom you maybe should just take it easy on her, its hard..we both don't know what do.." Said Bubbles sadly. "Girls you should just tell them how you feel, I mean its not that uhh ." Blossom looked before she spoke any further at the girls, the 2 looked down on the floor and are confused. Blossom started feeling sympathetic then said "Alright I'm sorry, look give it time. When your ready tell them..don't be afraid they won't bite and I got a good feeling about those three!" "Just trust me.." She said. The boys finally made it to school and all three yelled "Good morning!!" "Morning boys!!" Yelled back Blossom. Some of the students looked at the Ed's, amazed the new kids made friends with the popular girls and whispered as the Ed's walked to them. "New kids are hanging with the powerpuff girls? crazy." One kid said in the crowd. Double D noticed and whispered to Blossom "What are they talking about?" "Oh pay no mind to them, their just jealous." She said. Bubbles is alittle mad some of the girls are eyeing Double D, "The kid with the sock looks sooo cute" one of them whispered. Bubbles got up and took Double D by the arm then said "..wanna go inside?" She smiled to him. Double D started to blush and said "Um..yea sure.. hehe." Bubbles walked in with Double D and stuck her tongue out at the girls eyeing him. "Come on Eddy, lets go." Said Blossom holding his hand. "Oh, uh alright." He said. Buttercup saw the nervous and sweaty Ed who is scratching his head not sure what to do, she couldn't help but smile. She got up and took Ed by the arm  "Lets go, big guy." She said winking at him. "W-W-With bells on my toes.." Ed stuttered. "Wow, the Ed's are going out with the Powerpuff girls! Ha who would have known." The groups talked to each other and gossiped about the 2 trio's for this is a rare sight indeed.

Today is wednsday, early lunch day at the school. Everyone went to the cafateria in a hurry hungry, The girls already got their meals and are sitting at the popular crowds table. The Ed's, last in line, got their food and proceeded to sit at their usual spot till Blossom yelled for the boys "You guys should sit with us!!" "Please please!" Said Bubbles and Buttercup. The guys were alittle surprised but it should come as a no brainer seeing as they are now friends, they sat and just ate like normal as did the girls, some of the students watched and talked about them. Blossom sighed "the thing I hate about popularity, everyone is watching, talking, and some even hating on us. Get a life people!" The girls and The Ed's laughed. "You 3 ever tried jaw breakers?" Asked Eddy taking a bag full from his back pack. "Well after a certain candy incident...we try to stay clear of sweets.." Said Blossom nervously. "Oh come on, it wouldn't hurt. Let me have some!" Said Buttercup. "Yea me too!!" Bubbles yelled. Blossom is unsure "uh.. oh alright fine." She said. Eddy handed them out, 1 each. The girls looked at the white balls at first then placed it in their mouths. The 3 after tasting it got very giggly, "OOO... hehehe." The girls could not stop giggling. Double D lifted an eye brow at them while eating a sandwhich "You 3 alright?" "We-we-were f-f-f-fiine Pahahahahaha" Blossom said trying to contain the laughter. "Mmmm it tastes sooo good..." Said Bubbles. "ahh...sooo sweet." Said Buttercup. "EDDY YOU POISONED THEM!!!"Shouted Ed grabbing Eddy and shaking him. "I didn't do anything! I got these right from the candy store downtown!!" Yelled Eddy. "Let me have a taste just to make sure." Said Double D taking one. He sucks on it then becomes very giggly himself and is in awe. "Whats with you!?" Shouted Eddy. "This is the magic of candy Eddy...it brings people together!!" Said Double D who is starting to feel good inside. "Thats just stup-" Eddy was about to say till Ed interrupted laughing and enjoying the jawbreaker. The girls, Ed, and Double D are laughing being sickly inlove with the candy. Eddy sighed and said "You can't beat'em...join'em" He took a jawbreaker and started giving into the candies delicious taste. Both trio giggled and laughed enjoying the jaw breakers with all the students looking at them funny. "They gone crazy?" One student said. "Wow..." Another murmured. The Eds and the Powerpuff girls continued to laugh through out the hour and their peers baffled by what their seeing.


As soon as school ended for the day, kids bursted out of the doors, the girls walked out with the Ed's. "hehe those jaw breakers were delicious." Giggled Bubbles. "Mmmm" Moaned Buttercup remembering the sweet taste. "I should get more,  been awhile since we had them." Said Eddy with his hands over his head looking up at the sky. "Its been awhile since we had ANY candy after going to your brothers place Eddy." Said Double D. "I know right?" Eddy said with a smile. The guys and the girls sat on the steps and laid their back packs down. They all sighed a heavy relief, Blossom then spoke "So glad school is over for the day..classes get challenging with every grade." "Yea but think of all the knowledge you can gain from it." Double D replied with a relaxed smile as both trio's are next to each other looking up at the sky exhausted from their classes, just hanging out. Blossom gently took Eddy by the arm then cuddled with him, Eddy got closer to Blossom then started being playful tickling her. "STOP STOP HAHAHA!! Not the ribs thats my weak spot!! Blossom giggled as Eddy smiled and laughed. "Aww..hehe" Bubbles watched them. "So romantic.." She said looking at them. Double D started tickling Bubbles, "Ah haha stop it you..haha I'm ticklish!!" She laughed blushing. Buttercup is alittle jealous and is just crossing her arms looking at them just then Ed put his big arms around her taking Buttercup by surprise. She started to blush then slowly held Ed putting her head over his muscular chest. "Mmmm...big Ed." She whispered. Ed smiled and embraced Buttercup. The wind pulled a gentle breeze over the gang. Blossom sighed then said "You know..people think were all going out..we sure act like it though.." "And we only knew each other for a couple of days.." Bubbles said. Buttercup is silent and just continues to ponder as they all looked up laying on the steps. "Should we try going out..?" Asked Double D. "I'm not sure how the professor will respond..he'll probably want to meet you 3." Commented Blossom. Eddy then said "Its cool, we can meet your dad. I have nothing to hide." " Me neither." Said Double D "Me too." Said Ed. "I'm alittle embarassed asking him this though.." Said Blossom. "I'll ask him!!" Cried out Bubbles cheerfully. Buttercup and Blossom looked at her, "I want to introduce professor to our new friends." Bubbles giggled. "Ok, we'll ask him together when we get back." Said Blossom. "..." Buttercup is silent and feels unsure. The gang continued to cuddle together, watching the clouds coming over the horizon enjoying their new friends company.

In the evening at the home of the Powerpuff girls, the Professor is in the living room reading his newspaper. The girls looked down from behind the stair ledge and talked, "So we just gotta play it cool and tell the professor whats up." Said Blossom. "Yeap thats the plan!" Said Bubbles, Buttercup is still alittle silent to which the girls noticed. "Are you ok Buttercup? you've been quiet all day." Asked Blossom. "I don't know what I'm doing..I don't even know who I am anymore. I'd never thought I'd have feelings for some one again after what happened with Ace and Butch.. just I don't want to get hurt again and its so weird, me out of all people have this strong feeling for someone...I'm supposed to be the tough one!! I can't get caught up in lovey dovey stuff.." Said Buttercup sad. "You and Ed really really make a cute couple, he's strong, funny and so happy..I don't think he's like Ace or Butch at all. You look sooo happy too when your around him, just give Ed a chance." Bubbles said comforting Buttercup. Buttercup continued to mellow, just then professor saw them up the stairs and asked "Hey, what are you 3 doing?" The girls got caught by surprise and Blossom spoke "Oh..um we wanted to ask you about something.." "Come on down and ask away." He said with a smile. The girls flew down the stairs and stood infront of him, "Um professor..we uh..uh" Blossom started to get alittle nervous trying to tell whats going on and started poking her fingers. "What shes trying to say is we made some new friends!" Bubbles said. "Oh great, whats their name and what are they like?" Asked the Professor as he glanced at his newspaper. "Well their guys..." Said Blossom. Bubbles quickly then said "But their really nice and their new in town. We thought you should meet them Professor so that you could get to know them!" The professor stopped reading for a bit and looked at the girls then cocked an eye brow at them and said "Are you 3 dating?" The girls got nervous then quickly started saying all together "No..no..haha what gave you that idea?!" "Girls come on, be honest with me." Professor asked. Blossom sighed and spoke for the group "Yes..." All three looked down at the floor. "I'm proud of you." The professor said surprising the trio. "What?!" All yelled together. "Most teenagers your age would go around their parents back and date or other things with out them knowing, you 3 approaching me and telling me about it shows you've matured alot over the years..there fore yes, I'd like to meet your friends." The girls smiled and jumped on the professor hugging him with the chair falling with them "WOW" He yelled. The girls shouted "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!" "Ok ok...haha." The professor laughed. "Would friday at 7 work for you?" Asked Bubbles. "Yes, its fine." He said. The girls hugged him even harder thanking him, "oooh girls, you hug any tighter and i'm gonna pop out of my skin." Said the professor jokingly with them all laughing.

We zoom out of the powerpuff girls house and on the other side of the city, at Eddy's home. He is on the phone having a 3 way call with Double D and Ed at his house. "So what you guys think so far being here?" He asked. Double D on the other line is writing a paper doing his home work and Ed is flipping channels on the tv. "Great Eddy!" Yelled Ed. "Pretty good, meeting the girls has to be the best that happened." Said Double D multitasking. "I found out something..but I'm only telling you guys since your the only ones i can trust.." Said Eddy. "Yees?" Asked Double D. Ed isn't paying much attention and continues to flip through the channels. "At the lake...Blossom told me she lost her virginity..to some jerk 2 years ago." Said Eddy. "Did she really?" Double D questioned. "Well she didn't let any guy go near her after that, basically she didn't want to get hurt again and losing her virginity was..well still is very devastating..but when she saw me she said she thinks i'm different." Said Eddy. "Like I just have this vibe i'm giving her, when she looked into my eyes she finds someone thats pure." He continued. "They do say the Eye's are the window to the soul." Said Double D. Eddy in his room had his legs on the table, he got up and took a heavy sigh then looked out the window. "After all the scams I did and what i've become..how can there be anything pure in me?" He said feeling guilt smashing his fist onto his wooden desk. "Your actions and what you became Eddy is majorly your brothers doing it is completely understandable." Said Double D who stopped writing and listened to Eddy. Ed continued to look through channels. "He was nice at one point but so many crap happened to him in highschool, I hate the world for what it did to him.. even though he practically killed me..I just.." Eddy is getting alittle teary eyed and started tightning his fist as he stood by the window the crecent moon layed over head. "Times I feel no one understands me, I'm alone...just me and my shadow. If i didn't have you 2, I could have committed suicide years ago..." He said. "I'm sorry Eddy..but now you have the 5 of us, me, Ed and the girls but most of all...Blossom. If anyone can help you, I know its her and in some ways you'll be helping her out too Eddy. Just cheer up, you have more friends you can count on. Be a big happy family, all of us. I just know, things will turn out great!" Double D said trying to comfort Eddy. "Yea..maybe." Eddy whispered as he continued to look out. "Just hang in there, oh and guess what?" Said Double D. "What?" Asked Eddy. "I made you all... A BIG BATCH OF CUP CAKES!!!" He yelled. "I'll be bringing them tomorrow to school!" Double D said. "You must be a riot at parties Double D...pfff." Said Eddy. Ed shouted on the phone blowing the 2 away "CUP CAKES DOUBLE D?! YUM YUM!!!!!" Eddy and Double D fell on the ground, Double D sheepishly said "Good to know he's still Ed..." "Yea thats the one thing that is not gonna change anytime soon." Eddy said annoyed. Double D couldn't help but laugh as did Ed, Eddy slowly started to laugh and enjoyed this moment with his friends. He said to himself "Maybe...just maybe..I can turn things around..i'm so glad I'm with these idiots..their my idiots..." The other 2 Ed's kept on laughing and Eddy smiled as he looked out the window having a small glimmer of hope flicker inside of him.
